I can confidently say that this was the funniest video that I've watched thus far with these blog posts. This isn't to discredit the other posts, I just thought this video was goddamn hilarious. I had never heard of this guy before this post, but it was honestly one of the funniest videos I've seen in a while. Alexis also picked the perfect person to personify the superiority theory with the constant belittling of virgins found throughout the video. I thought the way she established how they're seeing themselves as above Skippy was perfect and I couldn't agree more. The guy in the video they're watching is really, REALLY cringe, and I don't usually enjoy react videos because they seem clickbaity, but this one was honestly really funny. The dynamic that Noel and Cody allowed them to play perfectly off of Skippy and solidified their superiority over him, not through not being virgins, but by not being stupidly weird. The explanation of the benign violation theory also works well with the video, and overall its a great post and a really funny video.

    Before watching the Cody Ko video I did not think it would be as funny as it was, but I found it hilarious as well and was laughing the whole time. Skippy definitely is the perfect example of the superiority theory because he makes us feel so much better for not acting like that around other people.

    I agree! I was definitely laughing out loud, though I was also groaning a good deal of the time. It seems like by taking a risk and going for the big laugh they also found some really big laughs, though at the expense of a fit big misses at well. Maybe that tells us something about risk in comedy.

Although I've never watched Friends  before, Alex wrote a very well structured and well written post which covers all three theories of humor concisely and adequately and made me consider starting the show because of it. In it, Alex discusses how each character can all play their part in contributing to all three theories of comedy. Alex talks about how Chandler provides the superiority theory since he is constantly making fun of others and incorporating others' misfortune into his jokes. Chandler, according to this post, is the embodiment of the superiority theory. Next, relief theory is incorporated into the show extremely well by providing comic relief in moments of tension. Although Alex talks about how the show is mostly light-hearted and fun, there are still moments which can weigh heavy on the heart. Lead Blog Post: Eric Andre

I genuinely believe that Eric Andre is one of the funniest people alive. However, I don't blame anybody for disagreeing with that or for not even knowing who he is since he's only on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network, and nobody really watches cable anymore. Eric Andre hosts  The Eric Andre Show , a talk show parody that features street skits and pranks. This description does not do the show justice, however. The entire show is made with a layer of absurdity and is completely different from any other talk show. You could honestly hardly even call it a talk show, its just a montage of Eric doing insane things that aren't even always legal. If you haven't heard of Eric, you've probably heard of his co-host, Hannibal Buress, who is also as ridiculous and funny as Eric is.
